Andy Evans. Performance Coach.

I coach the owners, leaders, and their teams who carry the weight.

Growth expands the company; it also increases the load. Most leaders are quietly stretched. They built something real and now find themselves white-knuckling the results. You are here to perform: you are not here to cope.

For the ones ultimately responsible

You have built something real. Your decisions affect families, livelihoods, and futures.

Pressure is shaping how you show up: in the office, in difficult conversations, and in the decisions you keep putting off. Pushing through is not a strategy; it is a pattern that compounds.

As success increases, responsibility grows; fulfillment and stability often lag. We do not “explore” your journey. We reforge your capacity to carry the weight.

The Decisions That Keep You Up at Night

High stakes; incomplete information. We examine the patterns, the avoidances, and the habits underneath your choices.

The Conversations You Keep Avoiding

The conversations you delay are costing you energy. We build the capacity to be clear, direct, and steady.

What You're Costing the Room Without Knowing It

Your internal state shapes the room. We work on the source of your performance, not just the symptoms.

The Weight You've Been Carrying Alone

Capacity is built through discipline. We do the unglamorous work required to stay in it for the long haul.

What the work looks like

An owner came to me carrying every significant decision in the business herself. She was involved in work her team was capable of handling, second-guessing their judgment, and creating bottlenecks at every level and step without fully recognizing the cost. Her team was losing confidence and patience, and she was burning out. The business was growing but she was becoming the ceiling on how far it could go.

The work was not about delegation tactics or training up her team further. It was about understanding why she held on, what she believed would happen if she let go, and whether those beliefs were actually true. As she began to understand how and why she operated the way she did, it allowed us to investigate the ways she could perform differently while challenging those beliefs. She grew her ability to trust in the team she built, to communicate even while in conflict, and to step into the parts of her role that only she could fill.

She is still in that work, but now the ceiling has moved.

The perspective is earned

The perspective I bring was not built in the classroom alone. I have worked the front lines of human services, led teams through genuine crisis, and experienced failure at a level that required rebuilding an entire life, including time in prison. I have spent nearly two decades doing the kind of sustained internal work to rebuild and grow, that I now ask of my clients. That is not background colour. It is the whole point.

I have supported owners and leaders through growth, conflict, exits, and crisis. I know what pressure looks like from the inside. I have been in rooms where the decisions were not theoretical, and I have had to find out what I was actually made of when circumstances removed every other option.

“If you want someone who will sit in the hard stuff with you and help you find a way through, let’s begin.”

This work is sustained by quiet discipline. I train for and run ultramarathons. Long days on mountain trails have taught me that the best plan will always meet the reality of the day, and what separates the people who finish from the people who don’t is the ability to stay clear-headed, absorb discomfort, and keep moving. The only resource is what you brought with you. That is the same discipline required to lead a company and yourself. Success is not the absence of pressure. It is the result of pressure applied with intentionality.

I continue to do my own work. There is no finished version of this. No point at which the reflection stops, the growth is complete, or the hard conversations become easy. I know that because I am still in it. That is not incidental to this practice. It is the standard I hold myself to.

The Load Does Not Get Lighter By Waiting

Every choice you make today shapes your tomorrow. If you want polite affirmation, I am not your coach. If you want a partner in the work to reshape your capacity and improve how you perform: let’s begin.
